The Modern day Merino

Although still, in places, a controversial term, the benefits of the Modern Merino we produce today, far out-weigh the labor intensive, costs & difficulties that come with running a more traditional Merino. 

Our aim is to always produce a versatile, easy care, cost effective and profitable sheep that are easy to manage and produce a lovely, high-quality wool.

Ethical and Sustainable

As a result of careful breeding focusing on wool quality and plain bodies, our sheep have naturally developed many attributes that ensure a healthy animal that are easy to manage. 

  • All sheep are non mulsed sheep and haven't mulsed since 2007. 

  • All lamb marking is done so with pain relief. 

  • Minimal drenching.

  • Fly control only on tail at lamb marking. 

  • Sheep are run on natural pastures with little to no chemical use.
